Canadian tire has snowmobile helmets on sale. I was wondering if I can use them for solo II events and lapping days?

Whats the main difference between a snowmobile/bike/car helmets?

only fi they are rated M95 or M2000 or SA95 or SA2000

No, you can not use a "snowmobile" helmet. Minimum standard is a Motorcycle Snell M95 rated helmet.

Before you buy a helmet check the inside under the lining for the Snell M95 or better sticker. If it doesn't have one, you can not use it for Solo 2 in Ontario.

Although I believe some Snowmobile helmets do get the "M" rating from Snell, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
