Anyone have contact info for Ted Humphries?

He races(ed) a Daimler SP250, pic from Mosport a few years ago. If you have his email or contact info, please PM me, thanks.

James, have you tried the VARAC club web site. I am sure if you go there and ask that someone in VARAC would have contact info for Ted.

I know that Ted does not use email - lives too far into the sticks to get reliable inet!

He is restoring a Merlyn sports racer that my Dad raced back in the Sixties. Can't wait to see it finished!

James. You haven't posted any up-dates in your MCO thread since April '09; have you run into some issues with your SP250 build?

The answer to both of these is lazy (or busy) - I didn't but I did get an answer in this thread, which was great!

And John, I should update that thread, I didn't realize it had been so long. The only issue is limited funds - the car's going quite well!

Updated the MCO thread - however, I wasn't quite that bad with updates - last one was in November.

Interesting shots of other cars there too, I added them to my project car thread - there were two cars being overhauled that recently finished the Peking-Paris Rally. Peter Howe prepped them for the 15,000 km race and both of them finished.

One was a 1920 Stutz Roadster, the other a 1939 LaSalle Coupe:
