I am pleased to announce that CASC-OR will have booth space during the Canadian International Show Feb 13 to 22nd at the Skydome and Metro Convention Centre. We will require at least 24 volunteers over the 10 days to assist in the set-up, manning the booth during the show and the tear down.
Anyone who is interested in helping out can email me directly, vicepres@casc.on.ca. I would like a volunteer to act as show coordinator to assist in putting together a work/task list and schedules when volunteers are required.
It is our intention to have available our On The Grid Magazines & our Motorsports Guides to hand out to the public as well as display one of our members race cars. Grassroots Motorsports in Ontario is starting to grow in popularity and we want to encourage participation through spectating, competing and volunteerism in all the divisions of motorsport that we sanction.
We will be inform interested enthusiasts about every aspect of becoming a Soloist, Ice Racer, Road Racer, Rallyist or Marshall/Event Volunteer
Participation from everyone of our member clubs is encouraged. Please ensure your members know about this opportunity.

I would like to thank all that offered there assistance to help out at the AutoShow. We have over 48 volunteers working the 12 days of the show and hopefully we can get our message out to the future enthusiasts of motorsports.

If you're plannjing to visit the autoshow, stop by our booth on the 600 level of the South Metro Tornto Convention Centre and say hi to your fellow members who are helping spreading the word about amateur motorsport in Ontario.

By the way Ron Fellows stopped by yestrerday to say Hi and to wish us luck. Paul Tracy will be signing autographs Friday morning at 10:30 in the 93.5 Booth right across from our booth.

Hope to see you there.

A special thanks to the 50+ volunteers who gave of their free time to come help out at the Autoshow over the past 13 days. We've had a lot of compliments from within the racing community who came out to check the booth.
As an organization, we're new to this type & magnitude of show participation and hope to do better next year.
Along with the thousands of people who came by to say hi and find out what we're about, we made some good contacts in the areas of sponsors and companies that want to come on board in one way or another. Whether it be event sponsors or contingency partners. We'll let you know how it shapes up as the racing season gets nearer.
Again on behalf of the CSC-OR board, it's member clubs & members thanks again, we couldn't have done it without you.
