It was aye. You couldn't have fit an American Express card between my arse cheeks during the 3rd gear slalom and the offset gates on the third runway.

That was the 6th run Joe.

Which reminds me, I owe Darcy and whoever was marshalling just before the offset gates on the third runway at the end of the day new underwear.

Day one I had year old tires on the rear end and it kept passing me.

I wear a banana hammock...size extra large...leopard print.

great drive, Barry. It was fun watching from that end of leg one...and was more so from the driver's seat!

See!!! there was water!!!!!! 48 sec into Yang's day 2 run 6 vid.

I got back from my first run in the afternoon heat and said to the guys 'I almost lost it after that water'.

'what water??', they say... 'you're losing it Paul'!! Even though I knew it was there I thought that it could be possible the night before may be catching up to me and so every run in the afternoon heat I had to stop and look at the water. Damn that water!! Where did it come from anyways??

Weird. Looks like water but I don't remember it at all. Good thing I didn't notice during all my runs otherwise I would have been a LOT slower. Guess I was looking too far ahead :P

Yes, water will come up on the Picton course even when it's not raining. Does it all the time in that spot.

Why do you think it took marshalls so long to re-setup the course back there??? We went through at least 3 cases of water just keeping it wet for you! :D

I was going nuts cause I was 2 seconds off my morning times, got down to the 90's raw in the am but only managed 92 in the pm. It was either that damn water or the corded front left tire.

Burl, are you serious that water just appears???? cause there was a fair bit in that 1 spot and it didn't really rain at all.

When we were picking up the cones, we could see the seepage, the cracks in the runway were acting like an artesian well. Endless supply of water.

Nice videos everyone!

Here is some video from inside the white bimmer that was apparently quite "interesting" to watch from the marshalls' perspective. Though, I think I was the less interesting driver of the two. :rolleyes:
