Hi guys,

Just returned from the HRC (Horizon Racing Club) School in Shannonville. This is a school to prepare for your regional racing license.

Great school. Chief instructor was Richard Spenard.

38 students where there. Everyone gets a certificate, but only some get a letter recommending you for the CASC license.

As a guess, maybe about 25 of the students were passed. So all I need now is to get my car ready and I'm going racing.

Special thanks to all the people who helped me with advice and encouragement is a very tough rookie year.

Yes I will still be running in the SOLO series as well as the Ontario Sprints.

Hey!!! Congratulations, Nick!

So you're going to be at the Spring Fling? My car isn't ready (waiting on pistons and diff still) but I'd happily drive down if I can take a good look at the car!

Ah, I'll probably be there anyways. Hope I'll see you there. :)

Do you have your race suit?
Think you need it for Spring Fling:

Yes, I have a race suit. Actually my staff bought it for me as a Christmas gift. Suit, Shoes, Gloves. Got fireproof underwear as a birthday present! Helmet and Balaclava from last year.

As for Spring Fling. I need to go to shake down and set-up the car - BUT - it's still at Magnus being prepared.:(

Marco (my mechanic) claims its will be ready this week, but I'll believe that when I see it. The first race is the following weekend so Spring Fling is really important.

Stay tuned . . .

Have fun.
Wish i had the time and money, only have shoes.
Working nights and some weekends don`t help .

So what are you going to be driving in SOLO 1

I got my licence last year at HRC and the were some disapointed guys that left empty handed.

Awesome Nick! Looks like I'll be seeing you out there for a couple races myself. Just got word this morning that I can go ahead with the paperwork to secure my license.

DECH_92 - I hope to be running my 97 Talon in both Solo1 and the Ontario Sprint Challenge Cup.

Just not sure when the car will be ready. See :

In SOLO I will be in B-Mod (might end up as the only one) and in the Sprints - I think the Talon should be a GT-B car, but will start out in GT-C or maybe even GT-D until we get it sorted out and set-up correctly. As you can see, we are doing ALOT of changes and it could take some time to shake down the car.
