Anyone know anywhere in the GTA to get a probe type tire pyrometer?

CSC racing has a probe type pyrometer available. You can visit in person or that can ship to you.

CSC racing is an associate sponsor of CASC-OR and would appreciate your business.

I found two interesting pyrometers

A $19 a temp testing fork that cooks use. It is pretty accurate although the fork is very pointy.

and

A Multi-meter from Princess Auto a that is avertised as a volt/amp/olm/temp meter at $35.

Gave CSC a call the lowest price probe unit they have is well over $200. Found Grisdale in Dundas carries the lowcost Longacre probe ones for a little over $130. Just so happen to be in the neighbourhood tomorrow and will pick one up.

As CSC is a sponsor I would have gone there had the prices between within $10-$15.

I bought one of the Princess Auto temp. meters on sale for about $19.00. It's not bad, but it doesn't give the reading quickly enough for use in racing.
