Upcoming charity track day at Toronto Motorsports Park Cayuga this coming Friday August 12, 2011.
Our organization, Friends for A Cure, is holding a track event for both the road course and drag strip at Cayuga. The event is open to all makes and models of cars and will be geared to different levels of experience. We raise funds for cancer research by Dr. Armand Keating from Princess Margaret Hospital. We have rented out the entire track for the day and invite enthusiasts to participate in our event for a donation to the hospital. All information is available through our web site at www.racingforacure.ca .
It should be noted that our event is a little different than most. Firstly all donations go directly to the doctor and no money goes to administrative costs of any nature. Secondly, as any participants are actually making a donation to Dr. Keating’s research, then they will receive a tax receipt for their donation.
