Another fine weekend...sort of

Thanks to all the officials and mebers of PMSC who put on a great event.
Despite slippery conditions (imagine that...ice is slippery?) it was alot of fun.
Especially on Sun. after the little talk in the morning, the afternoon races were much cleaner, and I noticed some of the worst offenders were actually doing better in the races after they stopped banging into other cars, which made for some great battles.

Another fun weekend. Drivers are learning to drive the car, but still have lots to learn. Not too bad at avoiding other cars. Occasionally fast. Snowbanks, on the other hand, appear to have developed magnetic properties........

Mechanics are working at figuring out what's still wrong with the damn thing. Oil leaks? Umm, yup. Sure does. Not sure where it's coming from. Sorta looks like everywhere. However, the boost controller is now diagnosed and fixed, and so it doesn't go into overboost limp mode at the most inopportune time. Who knows, the thing might actually become reliable around the end of the season. Just gotta find that leak.

Sun was shining today. Racing was good. Met some more nice people. It's going to be cold next week so as to preserve the very slippery ice. We all had fun. What's not to like?

Was a decent weekend in rubber.....ok...good weekend in rubber

Yet...having Kiyo and Doug break both the stud cars on saturday, saw two of us driving to Georgetown and replacing one engine, and two of us in the garage at the cottage changing a transmission.

I think that's what you'd call being determined to race.

Try Bardall Stop Leak or even No-Smoke, I swear it will plug a hole in a *****acer tailpipe :rolleyes:
