WTB: CHEAP miata

Looking for a cheap gen 1 miata (allthough I'd take a gen 2 if it was priced like a gen 1 lol)

by cheap I mean UNDER $3K. Preferably WELL under.. heheh

Smashed/blown motor/shitty interior/etc OK... allthough I'd prefer to find a car without all of those characteristics... :)

Check this week's trader...there's a $3700 one listed.

Cheap ones come up every now and then. Theres been 3 or 4 sold in the last year that I know of for under $5k.

$3700 is a little too pricey..

I'm looking for a project type dealie.. maybe a REALLY ugly body or dead motor, or both...

the car needs to be relatively complete, though.. just not in great shape..

There are always cheap Miatas on ebay. Some around $1500us. You have to go down south to get them though. Check this out.

For what you are looking for you should do a search of the local scrap yards. The lot in Bowmanville had a couple last year.

There is a search engine for the local yards but I forgot what it was. Dave T. may chime in.
