I say if Matt shows up to the shootout rocking the Pauly D hair, he automatically wins the championship title.

Only way to beat that is to dress up as Snooki.

Anyone interested in doing a short write-up for the Mississauga News about the event?

We are looking for a competitor that can write a short article on the event, focusing on the shootout to appear in the Mississauga News (newspaper)..we'll also need digital photo's of the competitors in the shootout vehicle.

If you're up to the task, send an email to thelimit@rogers.com

I can help with the photos if you want to stick with the write-up.

Cool. There are unsubstantiated rumors about me. But no, I didn't win anything. Hooked up with Scion through Facebook and with the blog they let me drive their full line-up for extended periods. Usually three or four days with a car.

I don't think my writing is up to publication standards, anyway. I can't make it out to the final event, so I'm out of the running. Thanks for thinking of me, though.

Had a great season with all of you guys, had loads of fun and learned a lot about my car. Cant wait till next season when I'll have proper camber/alignment which doesnt make my car eat up the sidewall of my tires and un-warped brake rotors :)

I rarely chime in here but I must say, thank you PITTL/MSOC, for being THE slalom series to participate in. A few years ago I developed a real disdain for slalom, but I'm glad PITTL helped with re-discovering the fun. Regardless of today's outcome, I'm glad I signed up for the series this year. The competition in B-MOD was exactly what I was looking for, and it was a lot of fun to battle with you guys this season. I'm looking forward to next year already.

Thanks again to all (organizers, competitors, B-MODers, etc.) for a great season. See you at the banquet.

First of all, congrats to Bryan! Fantastic driving all year.

Also, a huge thank you should go out to the organizers. This season was another great success and hosting of this series is greatly appreciated by all. The Saturday events are much appreciated and make for large competitive fields every time.

Thanks guys!

Super great (chilly) day. Very humbling to drive a car you don't have any tricks for. :o

Well done Bryan you definitely deserve the win. I'm not sure 120 seconds were enough for me to figure out how to drive FWD fast on a tight autocross circuit. I hugged my Miata extra hard after driving the Scion.

I very much enjoyed the entire series, so much so I didn't miss a single event. Do I get a trophy for that?

People to were gracious enough to capture the shootout on their GoPros: If you host the files somewhere (YouTube, MegaUpload, whateverfilehost) I can put them all together synced up. If you need help/want to send videos shoot an email @ val(at)speedsterguy.com

Anyone who has any awesome footage is also encouraged to let me know how to grab them. I love putting videos together.

I did a compilation last year, and am hoping to do another for this year extra footage is welcome!

Huge congratulations to Bryan for winning the shootout in convincing fashion! And based on his second qualifying run he could have given FTD a run too.

The PITL crew wants to thank all of the competitors who come out every event, rain or shine or wind or whatever, lend a hand, and always have huge smiles on their faces. We saw a lot of new faces become regulars this year and hope to see that trend continue next year. Louis, Val, Stephen and others have done a great job with the video coverage for the events, and of course our sponsors (Lou, Taylor, Brad, Lick's, Toyo, Scion) are a key part of making the series possible.

I'll get the final results and standings compiled and hopefully posted this week, and we'll be announcing the banquet date and location shortly. For now, here's the shootout results:

Going through the results now..... HOLY CRAP FRANKIE WAS FAST. He was within a tenth of winning BMOD.

Looks like a lot of drivers put down their fastest time on their last run as well. Usually times tend to plateau by runs 3 and 4, but I guess the changing weather conditions played a big role in everyone getting faster throughout the day.

And a lot of guys lost their fastest time to cones. Louis, Frank, Shane and Colin to name a few.

hey now, my best run was a low 58 for sure... but i musta been over the line by an inch :(

near redline in 2nd(some guys off the limiter) to angled stop box = off course all day long

edit * taylors x1 run was a low 60 something - it was like 7-8th in CMOD

Um Ryan, me too (time please) for the last run with the blown stop box :o

in retrospect I realized that I did not do much tire spinning through that run and was smoother and faster (I think) but the tires had 0 heat and therefore did not stop in time :(

for my first event in 3 or 4 years, I saw a bunch of familiar faces, and I had a great time - thanks to the whole PITL crew!

So much thanks to everybody for such a good season! I don't run any other series because PITL offers so much to learn, experience, and take away. I think it's one hell of a way to spend the majority of my summer weekends, and the best way to spend $35. The camaraderie amongst everybody is one thing I love. Being able to hang out and mostly shoot the shit with like-minded people is so awesome in every way.

I did terribly that day, and threw out my best run by going into the stop box too hot. Challenging course, considering all the obstacles out there. Definitely keeps you on your feet. Oh, the cold too.

Congrats to Bryan (that was one hell of a drive) and all the class winners. I was really hoping the shootout car would be the huge Lincoln that was beached near the stop box (flat tire and all). That would've been all sorts of awesome.

One informal request: I'm hoping the banquet isn't the second weekend of November as I will be out of town. So will Dave (Saab 9-3 guy) and I think Clive said he wouldn't be able to make that weekend either. Here's to hoping you guys haven't finalized everything yet!
