This is TLMC's last event of the season!

Event Schedule:

Registration opens at 8:15 and closes at 9:15
Driver meeting at 9:30
Cars on course ASAP

As usual, there will be no lunch break. There are two Tim Horton's near by, a Little Ceasar's, a Mac's Convenience store as well as others. Feel free to bring a lunch with you...even a small portable BBQ/hibachi is a good idea. Water, sunscreen, and even an umbrella are good items to have on hand also.

Classing:

This year, TLMC has moved to using the CASC-OR classing. The rulebook and bulletins can be found here: http://www.casc.on.ca/autoslalom_rules

If you need help classing your car, post here, or send me an e-mail.

Marshaling:

Competitors are required to marshal after EACH run. We would appreciate it if you could report to the chief marshal immediately after your run in order to keep the event running smoothly. The sooner you get to your marshaling station, the more time you will have to relax before your next run.

Event Fees:

TLMC Members - $20
Non-TLMC Members - $30

As a perk for being a TLMC member, course maps will be e-mailed before the event.

***REMINDER*** - Helmets MUST be SNELL M2000/SA2000 approved or newer!

Also, please help us SUPPORT THE ELIZABETH FRY GROCERY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (G.A.P.) (http://www.elizabethfrysociety.com/groceryassistanceprogram.html)

This year we are stepping up our community support. We've decided to help "fill the G.A.P." by collecting non-perishable food items at all of our events. PLEASE help out by bringing what you can. Below are a couple of news articles from the Examiner. The first highlights why we chose the Elizabeth Fry G.A.P. over the Barrie Food Bank, and the second shows how quickly things can turn around with a little help.

So umm...it snowed this morning in Huntsville.

Thats so far from awesome its stupid,if I had time I'd go and pull the studs out of my ice race tires and bring those for the morning.

Brian and I ran our slicks on the tractionizer today. We should be good.

I have video from runs 1, 2, 3 and 6. I will see if I can post them later.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures. Too wet and cold to be bothered....

Thanks Tom!

I must admit, although I am the autoslalom director, I have very little to do with the event ACTUALLY running. There is one person, and one person only that can make this claim...Lynda.

If it weren't for Lynda, we simply wouldn't have ANY events. She is responsible for not only running the timing system, but also inputting all of the competitor data. I don't think we have a single other person in the club that knows how to do this on their own.

We NEED more volunteers. I fear that without people stepping up, we will have difficulty running future events to the standard people expect from a TLMC event.

Thanks to everyone for a great 2011 season! See you all in 2012!

Well that was my first ever Autocross event. Other than being a frozen wet blob (I was by no means dressed for the weather lol) I had great fun. I think I will be back for more next year!

Thanks everyone for organising it!

Just curious, when are the results/times normally put up on the TLMC site? :)

We're usually a little slow.

I'll see what I can do to push the process along. It would be nice to have them up before our banquet on the 22nd.

Just checked my results. I'm pretty sure there was no way I went off course 3 times in a row. I'm not that terrible! I think marshals interpreted my 2 glorious spins for off courses. Not that I'm in the hunt for standings but ouch, the blow to my pride.... ;)
