A shameless plug for Mini-Grid. Someone bought me an early Valetines present, the 2 DVD set of the 2011 Goodwood Revival. Has the complete race where the Chinook won. They say of that model the only 2 ever built are in the race. The races on the DVDs are WONDERFULL !!!

Ya gotta love the rollbar height on Don Horner's Dailu. After I bought the car in 1970, I took it to Stu Trudel here in town to have a taller and more robust rollbar built. He put me to work cutting the main hoop off at the bottom of their legs. After cutting through surprisingly quickly, we discovered that the roll bar thickness was a pretty close match to that of exhaust tubing!!! :eek:

Needless to say, it was upgraded for more than just height!!!

I thought that's what drag racers used for roll bar tubing, but I guess our community wasn't excluded!
