2011 HADA Club and AutoX Series Banquet - Jan 14th

Hey Folks.

Sorry for the extreme late notice.

The Banquet is this Saturday, but I can only guarantee RSVP's up until end of day Tuesday. Wed+ please PM me directly and I'll see what we can do.

Also we're trying to source email addresses for all applicable competitors, but I'm not sure we'll get it in time. Therefore it would be a great help if you few could notify anyone else you know who was series registered about the banquet.

Thanks so much, and on behalf of the club, I'm very sorry for the late notice and results issues of the past couple months.

It would be great to see some of you folks out on Saturday.

Do we know who is all getting trophies awards?

is it a random thing?

i know Guido (Matt K) was in the finals but is he getting anything?

We'll be issuing awards at the Banquet for:

S1 - Christine L
S2 - Wes T (Wes has the overall trophy already)
S3 - Kent M
SP - Vince M
SS2 - Greg F

I wasn't there, or had anything to do with the series last year, but I'm guessing Matt was part of the shootout due to his points results but it looks to be spread out over a couple of classes, mostly in S2 which Wes ended up winning.

That is a peculiar situation. I suppose the same situation could happen in PITL too (though PITL only has a shootout when results are tied), but just like PITL, we only issue Class Winner and Overall trophies.

If it was otherwise delcared by the series organizer, please let me know.

it was some sort of tie, not sure but he was in a shootout and Wes definitely won... was curious how it worked

Tie? Hrm. Looking at the results, Wes had 100 points in 4 of 5 events. So I'm not sure how that would have been possible.

On a points basis, Wes had the highest, over 3 events it would be he, DavidD, Greg F all with a 300 point tie. Over 4 events, just Wes.

As for the highest points, it would go

Wes - 495.xx
Greg - 390.xx
Christine - 382.xx
Kent - 382.xx
Matt - 378.xx
Jon K - 357.xx

and so on..

Sorry, I don't know what was decided and why there. But we do have class winners and an overall. :) So yey!

I think you're thinking about PITL. Matt was in the shootout there and there was like a 4 or 5 way tie this year. That Banquet was 2 months ago. :P He would have won a Class award/plaque for winning his class.. and he was at the banquet. So were you. :p Weren't we all at the same table? Are you on flu medication?

This is for HADA. Which Matt was involved in, but I can't see other than total points why Matt would have been in the shootout there.

i think i only did 1 hada this season and Matt was there for all of them, i think there was something like an hour delay when he was figuring out who was in the shootout

i think even Yang was in the shootout and came in 2nd and he didnt trophy either(from what i was told i dont know, i wasnt there)
