A question for those organizing:
Will this event be open to cars with but a single seat?

The silence is deafening.
We expect that people will be taking instructors out with them all day on Saturday, and Sunday morning. They can go solo during the timed sessions on Sunday.
If you've got experience on the big track, and we have a class for your car, then I don't see why an instructor's seat would be manditory.

Are there any more spots available for this school/event?
Hey Rob,
I think what Kevin was getting at was that the dwarf car only has one seat and he has not been on the big track before. I am in the same situation with my yellow super seven that only has one seat. We both are going to do as much of the series as we can and would like to include the big track weekend in our plans. Can we play follow the leader or some other such arragement instead of carrying an instructor?

Yes - We still have spots available.
Send in your application form, register on line through the CASC Members Only section, or get your credit card to me.
It will be a blast - lots of lapping all day on Saturday and Sunday morning, and 2 timed sessions on Sunday afternoon.

Hey guys,
What are the chances of getting the tire truck out for this event like at the BMW schools? I can see a lot of people wanting to swap tires afer all that lapping. Plus, in case your tires die (like mine did), you can just buy a new set right there :)

I've heard the big track is not as much of a tire eater as some of the other tighter tracks we run...

Right - the big track is easier on tires and brakes - especially compared to DDT and Cayuga.

Mosport is gentle on tires and brakes. I ran a nearly bald set of tires for half a day there. The only reason that they didn't last the other half was that a moment of lock-up at 220kph had the undesired consequence of flat-spotting them in a hurry. Doh!
