Thank you to those who pulled through at corvette club...

despite the poor conditions (wet, cold, wet, wet) i still had a blast!!

Cant wait for the next one :)

They raced today with the rain? it was windy as all heck at Ontario place but that puts hair on your chest(sorry for the women there)

They had 8 timed runs and then fun runs. We did not stay for fun runs as we wanted to come checkout Hada's new lot. Unforetunately when we got there everyone had already left. I was told some people managed as much as 10 fun runs after we left.

I went to the HADA event as COMP cancelled twice last fall in the rain. Figured a third was coming. Sounds like a good day.

HADA ran a great event, no marshalling, started on time and fed us!

I suck in the rain!

Not that it mattered. I decided it wasn't worth the drive to be wet, no matter who was hosting.

Yup we ran! :D It was cold too. Aside from a 45 minute timer delay 14 of us manged to get 8 runs in. I also got in 2 fun runs. Can't wait to try it dry. Man I was soaked to the bone. Every piece of clothing had to be changed and my shoes are still water logged! :p My new Cooper Zeon 2XS tires worked well in the rain. I didn't scare any course marshalls or the few spectators that were there! :p

I echo earlier sentiments...Thanks to the Corvette Club for slogging through the rain to make the event happen.

Marshalling wasn't as much fun as it's cracked up to be, but everyone who hung in for the whole event got lots of runs.

My new-to-me ('91) miata was a blast in the wet (even on street tires) and it was a great way to shake the cobwebs out.

Here's hoping the next event is dry and warm.

Another thx to COMP for all their work from here. I marshalled with my helmet on to keep warm and dry :) Soo good to be out there again. Just too bad I finally got my algnment today and not last week so I could turn left as well as right :D
