My name is Nuwan just posting under 101rs's login...

I'm looking into changing parts of my failing brake system in my subaru legacy turbo...

I'm considering using braided lines, but i'm not sure of their cost... I would like to know how much braided lines usually cost per foot, as well as the neccessary fittings that go along with them. I'm also interested in a manual brake bias controller, how much would that go for? and finally where would be a good place to find these items?

Thanks in advance:)

Goodridge seems to have ss brake lines for the Legacy. They're usually around $90 usd for a set. I personally can't recommend them tho because one of mine blew after only two months.

As for the brake balance, I got a Wilwood proportioning valve from Summit Racing for around $35 usd. Its worked just fine for me.

When KVR brakes of Ottawa visited OMSC at our April meeting we were informed that KVR is a major distributor of Goodridge lines. A local agent is David Swain 905-985-5202.

Why not try Russell brake lines? You can get them at Performance World.

You can get braided lines made up at CISCO, but it'll most likely cost you a whole lot more, and they wouldn't be tested or come with DOT approval.

JRP in Mississauga has the brake balance controller, and it's very cheap.
