What events are running between now and Picton? I thought I saw a post somewhere about a COMP event on 16 May. Can't find it anywhere. I checked the Solo 2 calandar.

Where does COMP post their events?

May 16 = COMP
May 24 = MSOC Pro-Solo @ Square 1
May 30 = StLac (regional) & TLMC

May 16th is also another Solo 2 School hosted by SPDA in partnership with MSOC.

For those who are interested, contact Joe!

Gotta wonder if planning an event on Mothers Day was such a brilliant idea....

I'd be willing to bet that the turnouts at PITL and WOSCA this Sunday will be smaller than expected.

Send you mom a card, give her a phone call and come solo. She'll understand, hopefully!

Even better, tell her to bring the Malibu and sign her up.

...if she was still around, she'd love it - now I have to worry about the mother-in-law and the wife (who says she may buy a some R-compounds as a b/day gift - so I have to be cool)

....actually, it was the wife. She insisted that we get a car that had a manual transmission and good road feel (but it had to be a 4-door) and I convinced her that a CAI would be good for gas mileage.....:o

However, the M-I-L did drive a 1969 Mach 1 back in the early '70's. She can't drive anymore, but she loves a quick 0-60 run as much as she ever did - even if she's in the passenger seat.

I don't know about that. We're all prepping for a big turn out and most people in the club are coming except for one guy who's son is running a Junior dragster rain date (assuming it doesn't rain).

We intentionally scheduled the first summer event on Mother's day to keep registration at a managable level.

There is so much happening next weekend. Super Chevy show at Cayuga takes #1 priority here. If thats way to busy I'll head over to Comp. Then if its pissin down rain I can vend 1/64 scale die cast muscle cars at the Burlington Toy show. Too much too much:cool:
