Well, Sonia took over 240 pictures on Sunday and 110 of them are now on the web page.
Go to http:\\www.solo2ontario.com then pick the Gallery pull down and Photo Album. Then proceed to 2004 and then Event 1, May 2, Toronto.
She did take pictures of everyone that ran the second run, although some of the competitors were going way too fast and the pictures may not have been good enough quality to warrant putting them up. If you did not appear in these, sorry!
The pictures were taken and are copyright by Sonia Tanney Photography, which means that you need her permission to use ANY of these pictures. Prints or high quality digital versions of these pictures are available for purchase for anyone that is interested and you can e-mail
tanney@sympatico.ca for more details.
Enjoy

There are 2 easy solutions to not getting unwanted attention...
1) remove plates at the event
2) don't drive on the street with bright lettering saying drummondmotorsports.com on your car and all sorts of OTHER stickers.
A 10mm wrench should solve your immediate problem, tho.

Thanks for the pics Wes/Sonia.
Do I need to ask for permission to save to my computer for transmission to friends/family via email?

yeah yeah yeah I know i Know I was being lazy at the event...
I guess if insurance companies were smart they'd have already linked www.drummondmotorsports.com on the back of my car with my plate number and then it doesn't matter if I run the event with or without plates....
ohhh well hope you all had a good laugh :p

Oh, we're not done yet :D
I think after finding out you got beat by an Echo and a TRUCK, you're insurance company might not care, you obviously don't drive fast enough to get in any trouble :p

1. Remember to bring a towel or something to wipe down my windows before marking on numbers. Shoe polish definitely doesn't stay on when wet. Or use something else for number.
2. Boy, am I short. :( Yeah I know I am short, I am over 5' tall but damn, do I ever look small standing beside Darren.

Glad to hear vehicle was fixed.
By the way, does the TO VW Racing Club have a website?

umm, no actually. its just a bunch of guys running the same stickers in a hope to get more vw's out at racing events, instead of having them street race automatic civics with type-r stickers on them.
:D
maybe we should? i'm too busy to organize such a thing right now.
