I'm thrilled to announce that two fellow competitors from last year's CASC regional series will be joining me in Grand Am Cup this year.
Shaun de Jager (GTC and TGTC in his Talon) will co-drive with me at Tremblant in two weeks time. We'll have a test day at Mosport this week to fine tune the car, and then it's off to the show mid-week next. Shaun and I had some really great dices last season in GTC, being nose-to-tail for many laps.
Jody Trudeau (GTB and TGTC) gets more out of his Camaro than one would think possible. He's joining me for the Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio Grand Am Cup races. I've been out practicing so I can make sure I'm as quick as he is ;-) We drove a bunch of laps together at the last Mosport test day, and I think we'll make a heck of a pair.
All told, these two guys are great drivers, and the next three races are looking good. You can expect a full report at the conclusion of each event. In the meanwhile, check out http://www.compass360.com/racing/2004 for details on the year so far.
