And an ever huuuuuger thanks to the MSOC in making this happen.

The weather cooperated, and mother nature was kind to all involved. But like anyting, too much maybe too much as some people went home with sunburn.

Other than a bout of motion sickness, from one of the volunteers, the day went off without a hitch.

Special thanks to:
MSOC: co-host
Japanese Automotive: Pylons, 150 brand spanking new soft and pliable types.
SPDA Volunteers
Solo2ontario
Solo 2 Volunteers
Pizza Pizza

Most of all, to all the student that participated.

Thanks

The best part of the day for me, by far, was taking a couple of students out right at the end of the day and seeing the huge grin on one guys face as he ranted about that being better than any of the roller coasters at Canada's Wonderland!

I thought after taking James out in my car that I had him talked into an even swap with my Civic for his Cobra, but right at the end he came up and said, "No thanks, not today".....damn!

Good job SPDA!

I had a great time Instructing at this very organized and successful event. I noticed that several of the students had taken the solo II school before and they came back because they realized that one day of training was just the beginning.
For the cost of racing 2 solo II events
(that's only 10 minutes of driving!) going to this school for $50 is a fantastic bargain and opportunity for any novice or experienced solo II racer to improve dramaticaly in just one day.
I was instructing all day and I still managed to get more seat time that day then at any solo II race day.

I think SPDA can successfully hold 1 or 2 more of these schools within the next few months.
What do you think?

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 more schools????

I agree that the school was very successful and for our first venture into this type of thing I think eveyone got thier moneys worth. Certainly the students I rode with were appreciative.

We'll have a meeting of the minds and decide if we can do another school, the dates available at this time are very very rare with so many other events going on.
