Is there any 94 octane gas available near or at Cayuga? Or any 100 octane that I can mix? I really need to have at least 94 octane now, because that's what we tuned my car on the dyno for... and the cam is pretty big in it now.

Good question!
I've been to cayuga several times, and here's the scoop.
Closest Sunoco 94 is in Stoney Creek. So fill up before you head down the highway. In cayauga there is a Pioneer station that sells 93 octaine Platinum Gas. You'll have to look for it though, I think it's only in one of the eight or so pumps.

93 is close enough, I hope. I'll bring some cans of octane booster just in case. I don't really like that stuff, but that's the way it goes.
I'll go to Stoney Creek on Friday night and fill up, just the same. Unless it's an hour drive or something.
So Cayuga itself has no pumps?

Actually - you're right.
There are pumps over at the drap strip (which is accessible from the track). I was there last year for a drag race (14.2 with the stock turbo / engine of the talon - hope to do 11.2 this year!).
Anyway - as I recall they did have some very expensive race fuel (if you could find the pump guy) and there is drag racing there on Saturday, so it may be an option.
By the way - here goes my trash talk - - - IF I can keep this talon together for more than 3 laps (a great challenge lately) I'll do my best to humiliate that big piece of wood firechicken you call a car.
My 2 liter - Four cylinders - Four hundred HP - talon is ready!
(Just trying to create some buzz for the event!)

You're on, bubbleboy! My 540hp RWD car is ready... although I wish it was 2800 pounds. :(

Now - if we can just both survive lapping day - it should be a great shoot-out.

There is a Pioneer gas station near Cayuga. From what I understand Pioneer gets it's gas from Sunoco and their 93 octane gas is really Sunoco 94 octane. Sunoco wants to have the highest octane pump gas.

In that case, I wish Sunoco would offer 98 octane. I could work with that really well. :)
