whats the optimal tire pressure for 205/50/15 toyo ra1?my car weight around 2600lbs, i was trying out the tires today with cold inflation 31.5 and i wasnt racing, just normal driving + some heavy braking/accleeration/cornering for half hr and the tire pressure went up to 39! and i know the tires will be much hotter with autox

According to the Toyo website, RA1s should be 41 to 43 psi hot.

I've found that my target pressure for the RA1 is 40-41 psi. Once they get to 43 or higher, they tend to get slippery. I usually start with 29psi-30psi in the front and 34psi-35psi in the rear (depending on track and air temps). It does not take long to build the pressure up but if you are doing SOLO events, you might need to set your tires close to the target pressure, since you are running a series of short sessions.
