Sounds good, as long as they work as well as their V700 I'll give them a try. I sure would like someone else to test them out first, though.

Ran the new Kumho 712 street tires in the rain on Nelson last weekend. Really good rain tires. I think I'll try their new R compounds.

Since they come in the 235x40R17 size these should be just the ticket for you, Bruce. I'm positive they'd be better than your existing Yokohamas!

You might also consider the Toyo RA1 which is newly available in the 235x40R17 size. Ask Robert McAuley how he likes the Toyos on his 328.

Of course, if you want to really go fast I'd suggest the Hoosier R3S03! :D

I'd like to try the Toyos, but they're a hundred bucks a pop more than the yokes at Talon. But my new negative camber (about two hundred degrees :-) has slowed my tire wear immensely......

My Toyos were the first track tire I'd used, and I was totally blown away. They stuck like glue in the rain at the big track at Mosport when they were new, and they were great in the dry at the Solo 1 School and my first Solo 1 event at Shannonville.

There wasn't much tread left after the Saturday Cayuga session, and I found myself sliding more than usual on Sunday - but still turned in a slightly better time.

They are still a long way from being corded - I still have the lateral grooves running around the tire. We'll see how they hold up at Tremblant in July, but I may be looking for new tires sometime in August.

Is the Tremblant thing sold out?
