Wow, that 4.6 L Ford Civic was quick! Look what it did to the Mitsubishi Talon TSi and Crysler Neon. :p

Ouch indeed. Just a technical note. Myself and my brother are indeed novices. I don't think that was reflected in the results. Regardless, I think it shows that a good driver makes a huge difference!! I've been thinking about the course the last couple of days and figuring out where to improve. What a great event. The course was great and I'm sure that most people could find areas of improvement. I'd like a few more runs please!!!
Next event I'll let Guillermo drive my car just to see what it's capable of in a good drivers hands!
Autocross...I'm hooked!!! See you folks next weekend!

Tashko.
Silver Talon (Mitsubishi) AWD that got spanked by an Insight...almost. Damn you G!

I'd could be convinced to take you out for a run (early in the day) in my car. You will have to provide your own barf bag though......:D

I could also be convinced to take your car out in a fun run and see if I can navigate my way through the course and possibly give you feedback on your car setup, but that is TOTALLY up to you.

Be warned if you take Wes up on that option! He seems to always be faster in someone else's car!
;)

However, having someone experienced drive your might be good regarding car prep/setup.

I went with you a few times at the school, I'd be happy to ride along with you again if you'd like and offer some pointers.

Thanks Wes, That would be great! It would be great if you could take my car out for a spin and also if I could ride along as well just to see where im making mistakes.
Logan, same for you if you guys have time during the event.

I have only spun twice in Autocross. The first time was in my second year of autocrossing and didn't the FWD unthinkable, I lifted in the mid section of a fast offset and did a 180. The second time was handbrake induced when I realized that I was going WAY too fast into the stop box and was about to take out timing equipment..... Both were caught on 35mm and video :(

I think the spin in "take it for a spin" could have a couple of meanings......

Oops I stand corrected. I did spin in my first run in Derek's car...... and I did also spin Ron or Terry's 3/4 midget as well.

I didn't count those because they're RWD:rolleyes:
