Depends on where you are. You can also get the shaving done for $20/tire when you order your tires through Talon Tire in Montreal. They are great to deal with!

I know this is old but are there any current shops doing tire shaving in Toronto?
I tried wheel and tire and they no longer do shaving.
Thanks.

Jeff at Toronto Tirecraft
Arek, to be squeaky correct, it's probably James at Toronto Tirecraft. James does the actual shaving and is probably the one to determine if a specific tire can be shaved.
It tends to be new tires only as small stones can ruin the blade, but ask.

Thanks, I look them up.
I have the new tires, so I'll see if they can or should be done.

I gave them a call, said that the machine is put away for the season. I don't blame them, it is winter.
I just get something in my head and just gotta get it off the list.
Anyone have any regrets shaving street tires?
The tread on these tires are quite tall and the tires will age out before I would wear them out.
