I'm not....I just tell da wife I'm doing 2 events and that is the end of the discussion........YEAH RIGHT!!

Why do you think I'm not competing in regionals this year??? Women!! Why don't they just understand...geesh.

PBTHTHTHTHTHTHTTH :-P

:)

What I don't get is how people have the energy (and the money!) to do so many events! If I don't get a break on the weekends (mmmm.....sleeping in), I'm pooped for the next week!

I'll be there, using the event as a test 'n' tune session. Maybe this time I'll actually be breaking the noise limit. :p

I feel for you, if I told my hubby that I was going to two events in a weekend I would get attitude too! Especially at this time of year - when are you going to finish planting the flowers, etc.

But I will admit I would start to miss him too......we are both so busy during the week I hardly see him and when I get home after a day competing in the sun or worse a day of being rained on :( I am too tired to really do anything afterwards. Perhaps thats what bothers your wife?

"If you run one event this year...", make an effort to make Brampton this weekend. HADA has proven that they know how to run a first-class event, even in the most adverse of conditions, and the Brampton lot is a first-class location.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it out. I've got a neighbourhood garage sale on Saturday and I really, really need to get the ceiling fan, computer desk(s) and stainless steel kitchen sink (not to mention a wide variety of the 'best' of the '80s on cassette) out of my garage.

On the other hand, this *is* a HADA event, so if the hail, lightning, force 5 winds and unexpected volcanic activity that normally accompany a HADA event force a postponement of the garage sale, I'll be there with bells on! ;)

Ya, I found out the running in April/May in severe weather still counts as two strikes.

Looking at a short list this year. :(

Don't get me wrong, I agree 100%. My wife and I see eachother for less then 2 hours a night during the week, so weekends are all we have.

P.S. Weather looks good! I think the Gods have forgiven us

Guess you've already tried to get her to compete too?

We do need more women competing, not that I mind being so outnumbered. :)

I'm trying to get her to believe me. She only learned how to drive manual last year and is only starting driving it on a regular basis the last couple of months, so maybe once she' more comfy with it. She enjoys coming to the odd event. She got a real kick out of riding in Joe T's car. (Joe: Shut it!)

I said our car could be that fast too..but alas, she still won't let me drop $10K into it!

Yeah she probably needs more time driving manual tranny in normal conditions first.

Looking forward to Saturday, but I haven't been to the Brampton Centre before. Just wondering what type of facilities are around, washrooms, etc.

Thanks,

Todd

the Brampton Centre has to be the best Auto-x venue around. It's nice because you can go inside to Icy air conditioned comfort to use the facilities and buy a pop, then they open the BBQ for a fairly affordable lunch.

Sounds absolutely luxurious! Don't forget HADA provides a BBQ lunch.

Thanks for the info.
