Most garages can do it . They hook a aerosol can of stuff up to the fuel rail and the run the engine on it. Ive had decent results using the stuff you put in the tank , by putting it in with only 1/8 or so of the tank full, contrary to the instructions on the packaging. I think I had my injectors cleaned once about 175,000 km ago.. Haven't really seen the need since. I have found that ignition stuff and sensors have had more to do with drivability problems that fuel injection , in my car .(91 5.0)

Here is a website with much useful information on automotive systems. Good luck

There's a place in Burlington called 'Eurodrive' that rebuilds injectors, clutches and driveshafts. I've used them several times for various things and their work is extremely good and their pricing is excellent as well.

Herb , you mentioned you have a 91 5.0 . The whole reason behind my injector post is that I thought I had a set of 19Lbs 5.0ltr mustang injectors. Unfortunaltley they got sold out from under me , then yesterday I lost a bidding war on ebay for a set.

any ideas where to find a set?? Other than a dealership?

Jonathan,

there should be lots around , everybody uses bigger ones once they get up around 300 hp. I imagine if you put a want add in the TRIAD paper you would get tones of calls. I think new 24 # injectors are around 240 US for 8, 19 # should be about free.

I would think you could get them from any domestic salvage yard. They should be lots of wrecked 5.0s by now. I think all the port injected cars used 19lb injectors.

I still need mine for now :)
