Are passengers allowed in Regional Corvette club event this sunday?

Normally the Corvette club has this elitist rule about not allowing you to take passengers unless the club knows you, but will the regional rules apply that day instead?

thanks for bringing this up. its one of my pet peeves about that club, esp since there events cost $10 more than every other club.

did something happen out there before that brought this on?

Not likely. The year I won the championship I was told that they wouldn't add me to the list as they already had enough instructors my friends could get help from. And that came from the guy that started out with me in 98.

It seems that some people are quite....hmm... bitter about this upcoming event.?

Hey, I personally love running COMP's club events. Good courses, laid back (most of the time) and the funky bus!

It was always fun watching Pete, with a smoke hanging out of his mouth, throwing the overpowered 60 Vette through the cones. What happened to Pete?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure running a COMP event would be the time of my life if I was a COMP member. And I LOVE the course layouts. But the attitude of the organizers is appalling. Owning a Corvette and a belonging to club that has a bus doesn't make you the end all and be all of event organization.

Since only Corvette guys can give rides, I guess i'll be bugging them for rides all day instead of my friends.
If we all bug them for rides maybe they will change the rules one day....

I totally disagree with Marsh's comment. unless they have some new people hosting their events i'm totally surprised about this statement.

maybe its just you they have a problem with??
