A quick update on this weekend's event.

A reminder that announcements to the paddock will ONLY be available over FM radio on 90.7 - try and have a radio available so you can listen to them.

There are two changes to the schedule

Saturday start time is 30 minutes later than originally indicated and will be at 9:00 AM
The GT Sprints qualifying session will be split into two groups, GT 1/2 and GT 3/4/5

The revised schedule can be downloaded here (http://www.casc.on.ca/sites/default/files/2015_ctt_150730.pdf) and the supplementary regs here (http://www.casc.on.ca/sites/default/files/barc_supplementary_regs_-_aug._1-2_2015_150730.pdf).

Regrettably, this has been made possible because of a decision to cancel the GT Challenge race group at this weekend's event.

We have once again seen a lack of competitor support for the GT Challenge race with only four cars entered.

A low entry in GT Challenge presents additional issues compared to a low entry in other classes because of the special requirements for GT Challenge (primarily the requirement that GT Challenge have to have 100 minutes of track time all in one day) and it is BARC-OC's decision that we will not run the race group.

Competitors who are entered in another race group other than GT Challenge may continue in that race group.
Competitors who entered GT Challenge only may switch their entry to GT Sprints if they wish to, or request a refund of any paid entry fees.
Competitors who have entered another class in addition to GT Challenge will remain in that class and will have their second entry refunded.
Since this is a BARC-OC decision, no credit card fees will be withheld from the refunds if applicable.

We would also like to remind everyone that we are going to have a split start for F1600 competitors on the Libre grid, and will award trophies for F1600A and F1600B (but no championship points).

Look forward to seeing everyone at the track this weekend!
