Already bored? Boil your blood with this video of our last nights race in Aussie v8's at Bathurst ahead of this weeks real deal. Stupid fast cars jumping over a mountain. What could be more idiotic than that. Total fun.

LMPR cars at Sochi. I'm in the red/black one trying to get through the field after a bad qualifying on the wrong tires.

I can't wait to get back out there with you guys Pat!

To any interested, this is tons of fun with a bunch of great guys. Not only is the racing fun, but friendship and comraderie (sp?) amongst this group is awesome. The racing is just serious enough to be a challenge without the bickering and constant balance of performance that I've experienced in other leagues.

Doesn't take a super computer to run either!

Our grids have been down a bit lately and we could use some new bodies.

Who's in?

Hope to be soon - just a few more bits & pieces to complete the sim rig.

And then spare time...sadly I can't build that out of 2x4's from Home Depot...:( :p

Sim rig? You don't need a rig. I've been doing this since 2002 and have a kill rate of 70 percent with my G27 strapped to a computer desk. Can't wait to have you back Rob. Get better soon.

Our league has about a 60 to 70 percent core of long time racers. We are vicious but respectful. You take someone else out, you wait for them to pass by. No championship pressures, just race to win. No "I" racing pay for racing get taken out on lap one and your night is over. We're on line on our private server from Sunday through Wednesday night. From Ottawa, through Toronto and Windsor, and each corner of the US. Chat starts at 830 and go the es right through the race and into after race. It's just a great fun time.:)

iRacing just released Daytona and another track for free, plus NASCAR Sprint Cup COT and an 2011 Dallara Indycar (plus a few others).

I took the Dallara out for a run at CTMP. I scared the hell out of myself going flat over T4 at 'ludicrous speed'. I could get addicted to downforce. :-) With just a few laps I was down to 1:12.

Hey, Pat! Looking to get on track with you folks. Sent an email to league admin that he probably couldn't have replied to due to the fact that my email account linked to this forum no longer exists. I didn't change it cause I forgot my forum password. Only my computer knows it! Lol, how messed up is that. Sent him another email today using my new email address. Just awaiting a response.

I think last evening he said he had gotten it. Tomorrow night Aussie V8's at Phillips Island. A very difficult track in these cars with no adjustable diff or wings. Damn things won't turn lol. Reminds me of the trucks lol.

Hi Tom,

It says you are located in Newmarket? I work in Newmarket and could help you get set-up if you need it.

Cheers

Rob

I'm pretty much ready to go!
Thanks for the setup, Rob. Much appreciated. Gotta change my home location for this forum, actually a lot closer to Mosport now. I live in Port Perry, but I own the Microplay Video Game store in Newmarket, southwest corner of Bayview and Mulock. Drop by for a chat sometime, call ahead to make sure I'm there though. 905 898-8282.

Start of last evenings 50 minute race. Aussie super cars at Phillips Island. A ton of horsepower and lot a lot of grip at this track. A two pit stop race, most ran the hard tire compound which saved 20 seconds in the pits changing tires. With the strange diff in these cars, wheelspin was everywhere.

V8 supercars at Homebush last evening. Field is really growing with some new people from here. The in car is not me. I'm in the red car. Two pitstops, soft or hard tire strategies, different garage setups, true simulator.
