That's Canadian dollars.
It's only 35,000 U.S.

I'm not quite sure if the seller is actually serious. If serious, I think he or she may be in for a bit of a disappointment...

I think the poor fellow has been watching too many Barrett-Jackson re-runs.

More Canadian connection... It was a Grand Am Cup car and Grand Am Cup rose out the ashes of the Motorola Cup series which was Canadian.

My goodness, I wonder how much he paid for it in 2007 ???

He is serious.
Here is his response to my email inquiry:
" I have been the care taker long enough. It is time for someone else to enjoy, especially at this cheap price. I have never seen a triple crown champion car sponsored by Shelby American, Inc. ever sell this cheap! That does not even consider all the other sponsors or people involved. Can you document such a thing as a triple crown champion car sponsored by Shelby American, Inc. ever selling for $1,000,000.00 or less in recent years and again not considering all the other sponsors or great people involved with the car? "

Alrighty then!! So, when he tells you to deposit your money in his Nigerian bank account and his brother will deliver the car tomorrow, just remember this piece of advice..................NOOOOOO, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!

You're welcome.

I think this guy should try selling it at the next Barrett-Jackson shindig, there seems to be an ample supply of people attending who are willing to seriously over pay for vehicles.

Also, I am now contemplating selling my beloved 86 Mustang GT 5.0 Hatchback, it is not a Shelby vehicle of course so my price is reflecting that fact, it is yours for $ 500,000 U.S.

I'm standing by the phone at this moment, call me quickly before you lose out !!!

That's incredible and ridiculous.
A million for a photo of a potato.
I would have thought, maybe 750,000... but a million... wow, the guy overpaid big time.

Maybe its time my 1987 5.0 88,000km numbers matching original paint Mustang went on Ebay. Not having the racing pedigree I would only ask $500,000K cdn................:)

Easy now - take a closer look at that potato!!

I can clearly see the image of Amelia Earhart with a ghost image of Donald Trump behind and off to her right.

I've been collecting potatoes for a very long time now and that definitely supports the million dollar valuation - in my opinion.

I think the same guy with the Mustang is selling gauges under a different ebay user name - $1200+ for an Autometer fuel pressure gauge...

For every person giving a great deal to help get people into racing, there is a vulture in the wings, trying to reduce his race fees.

Ah, yes! But the new one doesn't have the history and pedigree that the used one being sold has! ;)

Hard to place a value on that - but let's start by doubling the price and see what happens!
