Cheers Dov!

As for food, possibly the SPDA samosas? Other than that, as previous years and not catered. Plenty of food places within 2 mins drive.

Didn't JRP have a BBQ one year? Not that I'm going for food.

For those of us who are new, and for anyone who has just plain forgotten, what do we need to do to register? Anything we can do/bring/prepare in advance? And what can we expect at the open house?

I'm excited to join you guys this year and learn the autox "ropes", but I'm a little unsure about how things work. :)

Do I need autox experience to be able to join you guys?
And by the way, I see that it's the open house this weekend, but what is it for? Is this where I can sign up for all series'? Sorry for all the questions. It all just seems a little overwhelming.

Thanks!

I'll have our cuddly 2016 Rookie Ambassador, Val, help out with that. Naturally, seasoned competitors that know these things well are welcome to volunteer some help too.

In the mean time, no need to bring anything with you except:

- Your good self
- $35 for 2016 series registration (Cash/Cheque/Credit Card)

We'll have forms on site to register for the 2016 season and in person guidance on how to do that.

If you can't make the open house, don't worry: Instructions for online registration for the series will be posted long before event #1.

Newcomers with zero autocross experience are not only 100% welcome for regional entry, but will be the only competitors that get to partake in the 2016 Rookie Championship.

Newcomers should make sure to stop at the SPDA table to sign up for 2016 Advanced Driving Clinic, it sells out fast. http://spda-online.ca/content.php?154-SPDA-Advanced-Driving-Clinic-2016

Any questions you can post here, email to val dot dipietro at gmail dot com or at the CASC-OR Autoslalom Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/748795628486875/

Veterans wanting to fill in forms before hand can it here (Page 1&2 required only):

My best advice to you would be to start in stock class on stock tires with a rental Toyota Yaris. Stick with that for a few years and then think about upgrading.

And don't ask to borrow anyone's STR cheeze whizz MX5. Too much car for you to handle.

All seems like good advice

Ask for Cuddly Val
Rent Yaris
Say no to Cheez Whiz

Thanks!
