Full out, back straight, over the hill, brake like a mad man, quick left, full out, brake like a ... oh, oh,..no brakes... nice trees. This happened to me twice yesterday. Its not brake fade or fluid boiling. Its mechanical. The brake pedal gets rock hard and I get only about 50% braking. My guess is that I've run out of vacuum to power the brake booster. Turbo under boost, there is no vacuum being produced. So its a long braking zone at the end of the straight, then quick on the gas again to the next braking zone, no easing off to get some vacuum, just full boost to full brake. Any thoughts? any recommendations on how to make/ buy and install a vacuum reservoir? Perhaps its a something else all together.

check to see if the one way check valve leaks or is seeing too much boost at the brake booster

It seemed that Nino was going off on this spot every session on Sunday!

He kept in on the track during the last session and managed to post a quite respectable 65.410 lap.

This was faster than 80% of all the Solo racers that day, including all the V8 Camaros, Mustangs and Cobras.
