General Event Information

There will not be a lunch break and we will not have a lunch vendor on site. There are restaurants a 2-minute walk across the street in Park Place.

More than one driver may be registered per car. (Be sure to arrive early enough so registration can space out the drivers more easily.) Drivers are not allowed to compete in more than one car.

All cars need to have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car.

Two driver cars should only have one number visible while on course.

If sharing a car, each driver must register and pay separately. Please make sure the shared vehicle is shown on both drivers' MotorsportReg.com profile/garage.

All helmets MUST meet the criteria outlined HERE

Marshalling.

We will be marshalling after every run.

The Event and/or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason. Decisions of the organizers are final.

Did a random search on hotels.com for your convenience. ;)

There should have been two hotels on the opposite side of the 400 ramp, but they're full for the Saturday night. :( Closest one with vacancy is by the Cookstown outlet mall (400/89), only a 15-minute drive. :)

The Way Home music festival is on that weekend so I hear hotels have been a bit scarce which could explain the low number of people pre-registered.

There is a self tech form which might be what you're referring to. There should be a link here somewhere.

Whatup with some people gettin' 7 runs and others with 6 on event 5?

~9 people needed reruns near the end of the day but were unreachable. We caught an error late & had to delete about 12 runs (sorry!). We only found about 3 of those.
I'm not sure about some others yet. I believe some people are missing their first runs from being in the results because of a blue screen of death we had near the start of the day. The runs are recorded but don't appear in the final results. I can probably recover them once I get the equipment back from OMSC.

We had a large number of people who were not registered perfectly, and as a result were sometimes entered twice in 2 different classes (usually with the same number). I think all of that is fixed now but it's possible that people still have runs split between both entries. Although I haven't looked at it personally, my understanding is that MSR doesn't play nice with our class/superclass structure. People often select an incompatible class & super class combination & that isn't detected until I try to import the registration list after reg closes. One way to fix this might be to replace class & superclass with just one field with both.

Travis - the issue is with the entry validation rules, they are a little complex with the superclass/class setup - after the next event is setup in MSR, send me a quick message and I'll take a look at it to make sure they are all there (should be about 7 of them in the vehicle info section - 3 empty field and 4 class related ones).

If you look at an event from last season '15 - 6,7,8 they'll have the appropriate rules in them, so those are the best to copy and create a new event from.
