We're down to the final week before BARC's Canadian Touring Trophy Races, July 30-31, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

If pre-entries are a good indication (we have more than 80 to date), we should have great fields in all our race groups. The weather forecast for the weekend looks good with a little break in the heat wave we've had the last few days.

We've made some slight adjustments in the event schedule in response to some customer inquiries and comments.

The Miller's Oils F1200 entries have been moved into the FLibre group (instead of running with Vintage), and as long as the number of entries justify it, they'll have a split start in races.

The Toyo Tires F1600 races have been moved earlier in the schedule (their last race is the first after lunch on Sunday).

For your convenience, here's a link to the revised schedule (http://www.casc.on.ca/sites/default/files/2016_ctt_schedules_0722.pdf).

The Radical Cup field looks fantastic with some twenty cars entered - they of course are the featured group of the weekend with rounds in the North American Radical Cup.

A reminder to all competitors that BARC and CASC-OR have several special deals available this weekend for competitors who are looking for more track time out of a weekend.

Many competitors earned a $100 "100 Reasons To Race" credit at the first event of the year, and more than 50 of you have yet to redeem them - this weekend is your last chance to save $100 on your entry fee before the credits expire!
Any Sprints (GT, FL, Classic, even Vintage though the car you enter must meet GT rules) competitor can enter the one hour GT Challenge race for only $100, and any GT Challenge competitor can enter the GT Sprints races for $100 (this offer is for the races only, you will be gridded at the back).
For all five "regular" GT Challenge classes, one competitor's name will be drawn at random to receive a $300 credit applicable to a future GT Challenge entry at the Ted Powell Memorial at Calabogie, the BEMC Indian Summer (3 Hour) at CTMP, or the CASC-OR Celebration Of Motorsports at CTMP.

So one week to go - come out and join us at what should be one of the best attended events in 2016, and what we intend to make one of the most fun events as well!
