Jean Sirota from QC (who co-designed the Canadian Nationals course with Carl) is running in STX.

There's a few guys from the West as well. Ryan Clark in SS (in a 996 Turbo that's for sale). Cam Withell (last year's Canadian National champ) in AS.

I'll go 3rds. Like $12,500 each! I got free winter storage at my place.

Two tenths out of the trophies coming off the horsepower friendly West course. It's on tomorrow, plus its likely going to rain.

I am pumped as f***. Way, way higher than I should be in STR.

Jeff Janzen from Winnipeg finished second in ES today. The car owner also trophied

Nice try Barry. Cone on the last run...but wouldn't have been faster anyway. Too bad it didn't rain.

Oh it rained.

Just not soon enough. Or soon enough. Depends on who you ask.

Came down hard though.

Was spin or win time. Puahed really hard, but got loose, lost time correcting and coned.

Honestly though, to be 1.4 out of the trophies after two days with what I got and a less than stellar day 2 is good with me
Finished way, way higher than I should have.

Staying in STR and developing the car for sure now.

That was a great Nationals. So much fun. It was also great to drive the Datsun on some awesome courses where I could stretch it's legs. First time I was able to finish in the top half of my class in 7 years of going.

after missing the past 2 years, i will be back in 2017.
I suspect that a large contingent from Quebec will follow.

Congrats to all that trophied and those who coned and spun trying and the few that got drunk trying.....
