1996 Ford Aerostar, 218,000km, 3.0L engine

Bought this for my Mom in 2001 and it has served her well! My sister has been using it to drive to daycare/work. Ford 3.0L engine and transmission are reliable. Air conditioning still works!! No pets, no smokers. Maintained with everything needed every 6 months by a licensed mechanic. Synthetic oil changes. Rust Checked since we bought it so it's in remarkably good shape for a '96. Selling as is, or I will drive it for a mechanical inspection / safety to be done at your cost. Never failed an e-Test, last pass in Feb 2015.

Toyo All Seasons 8/32nds on OE wheels.

Toyo Winter tires 8/32nds on steelies for extra $300

The bad: Roof liner was sagging so it was removed. Rocker guard on passenger side is rusted. Including a new one with sale for you to install if you wish. Second row bench seat was sold last fall.

Great A to B car at an amazing price. Great for Costco runs, or a contractor could take a ton of stuff in this thing. Already replaced with a Camry, so we want this to go.

Can you think of any reasons why it'd fail safety?

I am not an expert on the safety rules, but in the spring the mechanic who services it regularly did not say it needed anything. Brakes and steering feel good, hand brake works. My Mom loves this thing and wants to keep it still, but they have no room for it.

I left out a good photo of the right rocker that was on Kijiji. Left is fine, so other than "Ford", not sure why this side was this bad. As stated, there's a new part to cover / replace this included with the car.
