Good afternoon all,

OMSC alluded to this in our Autoslalom Schedule Thread, but being a new event, we thought we should have one dedicated to it.

This is for all those who wish they didn't use the first regional event at Picton to setup and tune their "winter work". We created this event just for you, and anyone wishing to tune their projects.

For a fee (lunch included), you have unlimited access to the Durham College lot and timing equipment.

A station will be provided with an air compressor handy along with Tire temp gauges, to log your setup for your tests. However, you will need your own lift equipment, jack stands or ramps for any other suspension component adjustment.

Details:

- All CASC, non-CASC members are invited. For those in college and university, feel free to invite Formula SAE teams as well.

- Full-day cost is $40 for non-OMSC members and $25 for OMSC members. We're going to offer half day entries: $25 for non members and $15 for OMSC members. It'll be the same for both morning and afternoon runs. Lunch is included with both full day and half day entries.

-Please bring your own SA2005 or newer helmet, or M class helmet.

If you know of any Automotive vendors that would also want to set up a booth to make their presence known to the community please PM me their details.

Thanks
Kent

Just a reminder for those who wish to tune their suspension or tire pressure settings in a controlled course, for this year's season. Where else can you have this much pavement to tune your car safely ?!

The weather looks to be cooperating for Saturday April 15th in Durham Region.

So come on out!

Location:
Durham College Whitby lot
1610 Champlain Avenue
Whitby, ON, Canada L1N 6A7

As well, if you missed the Regional Autoslalom Registry at JRP, you have another opportunity to register for the season.

Hope to see you all there!

Big thanks to OMSC very fun day! It was super nice since we got in +20 runs in LOTS OF SEAT TIME.
It was cold and it was rainy and my tires didn't work well at all. Front end skipped around like crazy.

Pictures are up. You can really tell how wet it was out there. Fun splashing in the puddles.

If anyone lost a fog light surround we found it. A quick Google image search leads me to believe it's from a FRS.

Thanks

Glad everyone who attended enjoyed it. Having a full day of unlimited runs really gave everyone a chance to get to know their car a little better.

Hopefully you also got to do some tuning while it was dry at the beginning. I know I managed to get a few test runs on 3 different Watts-link settings, adjusted my harness to my ideal setting and figured out how to use my Harry's Lap Timer App. Overall a very productive day!!!
