We tried a new approach with the Solo2 community for sponsorship and It worked extremely well for all parties involved.
First off I would like to know how we are doing on the service side with Wheel and Tire Zone taking care of our retail.
We have given 3,312 dollars worth of product as door prizes,give aways and awards for winning so far this year.This is over and above the basic solo2 sponsorship and seperate CASC sponsorship.
If you have won a prize set of brakes I would like to hear how they are performing,good or bad.I would like your input.Do we need to change anything.
We are changing things a bit for next year.We are going to have packages for the Most Improved,Best Sportsman and Best Overall Driver voted by You the members.The sponsorship package will involve Williams and other various companies such as tires,etc.The sponsorship will give the winners product for the entire season.This is over and above the weekly winner prizes.
I have to say we have had great results with this sponsorship program.Our product is now at 1000 plus stores across Canada.There have been several Hawk suppliers switch to Williams Product because of you guys and girls spreading the word.
Perry, Vice Pres of the CASC has asked me to ask you to respond if you have purchased product and you are a member for the CASC.
We are doing a marketing study for other companies to look at our sales success and join the CASC.The more corporate sponsors we have, the better the sport will be and the more power we will have as a whole for buying power and even one day when the CASC is big enough, tell the powers to be in Ottawa we have big Insurance concerns.Canadian Tire,Fenco,Hoosier,Daikin Clutch,Mobil 1 racing lubricants,Toyo,Goodyear,Sunocco,Roto-Tech and Tubex.These companies are the movers and shakers in Canada and they are looking at the on line fourm.I talk to the powers to be at these companies at least 1 a month.Product trading for different projects and shows.
If you guys are happy with the products you are using, post It and send the company a e-mail and say thanks and point them to the online fourm.It only takes a few minutes.
As many of you have commented that Williams is everywhere in Racing today.This is because of a good product and the solo community indorsing the product and spreading the word.
