That's right: it may be too early to ask, and maybe the answer is still "who knows".....but does anybody know if Cayuga will be ready for the last event of the season?..... are we moving to Dunville instead?
latest Cayuga gossip: I cannot vouch for the accuracy, but I've been told that TMP has actually now been granted the permit required to re-open the road course BUT before they can re-open they need to get the property rezoned (from agricultural to commercial or something like that) and it'll apparently take quite some time for the rezoning to be processed.

What about tacking one more event on for Sunday. Seems like such a wasted day (and some of us havent spent to much time at the track this year) ;)
Tough to tack another event on at the end of a championship season, since competitors make plans around how many events they need to score in based on the total number of events as announced at the beginning of the year. Adding an event at this point could screw with a lot of people's championship plans.

How about going there for lapping on Saturday and run the event on Sunday ? I dunno, just an idea........ to use the track as much as we can.... now that we're there....
That's something that would have to be decided on by Christian and the Committee, but it's certainly worth suggesting to them. However, this late in the year a lot of our competitors are out of tires, out of play $, and out of weekends they can spare. I think it would be very difficult to get enough Solo 1 drivers signed up for a lapping day at this point to make it financially feasible.

Thats cool, it was worth the suggestion. Looks like there is a bunch of lapping days coming up anyway.

Hi All!
We here at PromoSport Canada & Dunnville Autodrome were just discussing holding a lapping day on Friday September 24th. We have a number of people interrested that are not part of the solo 1 community. Thinking of the additional track time to help with year end point standing, how many would be interrested in the Friday? (fyi: Sunday the 26th has already been purchased by another group)

I'd certainly come out for a Friday afternoon lapping session like we did last time :)

So getting back to Ana's original question, where is the last event to be held? It seems , according to Dave, that TMP most likely is a bust... Are we on for Dunnville ?
