It’s all about the racing!
What a great race weekend ! Thanks to all the guys for coming out & making the Saturday Puresport GT V8 Race very entertaining! For the guys that couldn’t make it you missed a great race & tail-gate trophy party.
A special thanks to Cat , from Williams for handing out the trophies.
The trophies for the Saturday s Puresport race went to:
GTU winner #4 Tor Krueger
GTR winner # 73 Paul Massingberd
GTS winner # 114 Sal Sanfilippo
The “Hard Charger “ went to # 179 Kelly DeLancey who moved up through the field to battle it out with Sal.
Puresport “Wanker of the Day” , it really wasn’t so much a wanker, but a
“Hard Luck” trophy went to John Cattoni # 34 .we had a good laugh and John was a good sport about it we hope he makes it back for September 18/04 race to battle it out in the GTR class.
Grassroots Motorsports gave out tee shirts to 1st,2nd & 3rd place in each class . If you weren’t at the race come by the trailer & pick up decals. They will be publishing a Canadian Road Racing section & we hope to get an article about Puresport written.
We had four more drivers register this weekend – John Cattoni #34 Camaro, Lain Venditelli # 30 the hard to miss Boss 302 Mustang, Robert Calisi #39 Corvette & Michael McGahern # 66 Camaro. A few more were interested for next year & possibly our September event.
Don’t miss the September 18/04 event . We’ll be drawing for the C5 Corvette 1/12 model ! and other prizes to be announced.
