It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Perry Iannuzzi no longer holds the position of Vice President, Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs Ontario Region. The Board of Directors accepted his resignation on Tuesday August 10, 2004. The position shall remain vacant until the Annual General Meeting in November.

Yes, it is sad but true. Due to an extremely good business opportunity for my company & myself to become directly involved as art director & production house for Grassroots Motorsports Magazine - Canadian Edition, I thought it best to step down from my position on the board due to conflict of interest that may or may not arise between Mad Macs Communications, CASC-OR and it's corporate media partner Inside Track motorsports News.
John and I have spent many byears nurturing the relationship between IT & CASC-OR and I wouldn't want to see that ruined or put in jeporady by my business decisions.
As Vice President my role was key in obtaining and securing Affiliate Partners & Sponsors for CASC-OR and it's many Divisions. I have always worked in the best interest of CASC-OR and will continue to be a member of the Safety Commitee & Technical Committee. I will continue to offer my Mad Macs Communications + Graphics sponsorships to Solo I, Solo II and the TGTC, as I feel these are key elements to the thriving success of CASC-OR and have brought me a good number of clients that have made my involvment definitely worthwhile.
I will continue to offer my services where ever John and the Board would like and would like to thank all of those who have supported me during this transition.

Thanks Perry for everything. I understand why you stepped down, but it doesn't make it any easier to see someone who has dedicated a ton of personal time to improving motorsports in Ontario leave the CASC Executive Board. Business conflicts suck.
I am certain that your future endeavors will be successful if effort and innovation are keys. By the way I saw at least 2 shots of your cars in the GRM Canada mock cover. Now, now show some restraint.:D
Lots of luck in the future.

Perry... work comes first sometimes! Gotta pay the bills so you can race you know! Your influence at the CASC-OR BoD will be missed. Thanks for all the hard work you've done for the region, and supporting the clubs to help promote CASC-OR and themselves. You will be missed.
