Supplementary Regulations

The following Supplementary Regulations will be followed for Events 13
&14, in addition to the CASC General Competition Rules, and the 2001
Ontario Solo Regulations (the Solo I rulebook).

1) The Toronto Autosport Club (TAC) event organizers (Malcolm Elston,
Saturday and Steve Tong, Sunday) shall be the final authority regarding
any questions that may arise during this event.

1) Registration will open at 7:30am and close at 8:30am sharp on both
days. The Driver's Meeting will follow immediately, then Open Lapping at
9:00am. Latecomers and guests must find the Registrar, sign the event
insurance waivers, and obtain a wristband in order to remain on the
premises. The Registrar is a Solo I competitor who will be in attendance
at the Driver's Meeting, and will then be participating in the Open
Lapping; consequently, latecomers may be substantially delayed.

2) There will be no passing of other cars at any time during this event.
If another competitor's car spins, or goes off the track in front of you
during competition or during lapping, please come to a safe, controlled,
and complete stop. Only if the car that has spun cannot continue to the
next marshaling station may you proceed slowly and with great caution to
the next marshal position, where you will wait for
further instructions.

3) The maximum number of passengers allowed in the vehicle at any time
is one. Any adult over the age of 18 may be a passenger in vehicles on
the track during competition and open lapping provided they have signed
the event insurance waiver and have been issued a wristband. Those
under the age of 18 may only be passengers in vehicles on the track at
the discretion of the Organizer.

4) If a car spins on the track, or leaves the track by accident (four
wheels off), they must return to the track, if possible, and proceed
directly to the pits to see the Chief Scrutineer for a damage
inspection. Incomplete or missed runs will be scored as DNF.

5) All drivers must perform corner marshal duties unless they are on the
Organizer's list for special jobs. Please see the Chief Marshal for
your corner assignment. Failure to marshal (or to perform a special
job) will result in a DNF for the event, plus a penalty of double
marshaling at their next event.

6) The Corner Marshal's signal flags are used to communicate to you the
following:

GREEN : Drive at your normal competitive speed.

WAVED GREEN: (displayed after a yellow flag) Resume your racing speed as
quickly as possible!

YELLOW: Reduce driving speed to about 75% of your competition speed,
and proceed in this manner until you are shown a waved green flag.
RED: Immediately bring your car to a safe, controlled, and complete
stop. Then proceed slowly to the next marshaling station and receive
instructions about what to do next.
BLACK: Please leave the track at the normal exit point and report to
either the Event Organizer, or the Chief Marshall, to find out the
reason for being given the black flag. You may have missed the chequered
flag, or someone may have spotted a problem with the car.
CHEQUERED: You have completed your runs for the heat in which you have
been running. You may reduce your speed if no other cars are close
behind or catching up. Please proceed to the track exit at the pits, and
at the same time keep an eye in your rearview mirror to be aware if the
car behind you is catching up. If this is happening, increase your speed
to keep well ahead of that car until you get to the track exit, since
they may be on a hot lap.

All drivers in cars during competition and open lapping must watch for
and obey all signal flags.

7) Be conscious of your own safety - and the safety of other drivers and
guests - at all times during the event.

8) The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during the event.

All drivers and their guests are invited to attend the Toronto Autosport
Club barbecue on Saturday evening, after track activities have
concluded.

The Event Organizers;

Malcolm Elston (Saturday)
Stephen Tong (Sunday)
