Hang on a second, before I announce the winner I would like to add something.
We have had nine events so far and nine different winners of the Williams Performance Friction Top Scoring Competitor Award. Is that a great season or what?!?!? No domination by any one driver....
Ok, on to the winner. The winner of the Williams Performance Friction Top Scoring Competitor Award for Event #9 of the CASC-OR 2004 Mobil 1 Autoslalom Championship Series Sponsored by Williams Performance Friction hosted by Twin Lakes Motorsport Club goes to Daniel Fryer in his WRX (although just by a hair). Good job Daniel!

WOW! Congratulations Daniel! I know you were not having the best day either so good on you.
Darn cone (must have moved) on the last run lost me a 50.7 to edge you out by 0.4.
I should have run with the hatch open again. :D

I've been holding out all this time for the big one. ;) :D I couldn't hang back in second and third for the whole season! :p

That's the crazy part. I made mistakes in every run on Sunday. I'm sure I left at least a second out there.

Wes you should post who was behind him like a top five contender list of the event, I think I would have won it if I had marshalled or missed a run early on in the day instead of running all six runs. my fifth run was a 49.7 and then the six was a 49.6.

Results have been calculated and will be up shortly.
There is a new overall leader who jumped up from 46th to 1st!
Class leads have changed, tightened and have been decided. Good stuff.....

If I had known the fun runs were to be cancelled I would have suggested we swap cars for the last run. Would have been fun and unlikely to change the results.
