As this years road race series comes to its end I would like to once again thank all of you who have volunteered your time and special efforts to make all the race weekends the best. You are all truly unique.

Please remember to fill out your worker forms and email (or mail) them back to the CASC office so we can include you in our worker gift list for this year.;)

As I was the silly bugger who just HAD to try one more lap during T/GT qualifying on Saturday, it is only just that I thank all of the workers for standing out in the monsoon rains - and also for suffering through the heat, humidity, cold and other stuff the weather gods throw at us all through the racing season. We don't all get the chance to thank you personally, but believe me, you ARE appreciated. And as a former marshal (1963/4, and I still have my CRCA cap and log book) I know a little of your joys and pains, so a WELL DONE to all. :D

On behalf of VARAC and Group 70+ (the new grid on the block!) I'd like to send a HUGE thank-you to all the volunteers and workers for such a fantastic job this year. There isn't a minute out there that we don't appreciate all that you do.

Strange that my favourite lap has become the cool down - where I get to 'wave' my gratitude! Thanks for the big waves back!

Have a great winter and we'll see you next season! (If not before!)

Diane.

Keep waving and you will provide most of us the reward that we deserve... to see pure racing at it's best.

Funny to say that the 70+ group is the OLD new kid in the block ;).

Rain is th eultimate equalizer in this sport and it was very nice to see surprises in almost all the classes in terms of positioning in both the qualifying and the race of course.

Take care of those cars and we will see you back in about 6 months or less...

We were all really impressed with the professionalism of the group.

We're probably less fun to watch than Mustangs on a Ford day, but you guys have to work harder than on a race day.

We're looking forward to coming back to Mosport in 2005, and hope to see everyone then.

Not true, it is all perspective. I have been to a few "fun" / club events at Mosport during this past yeara and there have been some pretty big fields out there.

Then there is also the pure appreciation of the nive vehicles. If I was given a chance to schedule something new in these events is to ahve a greet and meet with the drivers an cars in the paddock area.

We do not get enough of that, well I don't to really appreciate the vehicles that go out there.

I like learning more about the vintage cars for example their history etc. I like to view the new vehicles as well, like the Mustangs or Ferrari's or Porsches... For pure appreciation...

Have a great winter and see you all in a few months....
