On behalf of Sherissa, Mike and myself, I have to echo Perry's sentiments as well.
Thanks to everybody out there who has helped out our team this year. Big thanks to Pat @ Plus1 Performance - couldn't have gotten all the goods for the car without your help. Ian @ Metric Auto Service - nice work on my cage and helping out all the time. Mike, thanks for all the help - it wouldn't have happened without that crazy week of racecar building. Everybody else who ever helped us at the track in the busy times with a helping hand here, or borrowing a tool there. I'm also happy to have helped out a number of other VW brethren with bits from my spares etc.
To Jeff, Cliff and others that I had great sparring matches with, thanks for the good clean close competition. To those that managed to rub every corner and side of my car this season - thanks, but no thanks - keep it cleaner next year. ;)
John, Gunter and Perry... The Touring GT series is a great series; boring sometimes in my car because I'm in no-mans land for laptimes, but the success of the series is evident. The sponsorship of Toyo and all the other groups makes it look very professional. The opportunity to race at the ALMS weekend was a BLAST - that was certainly the highlight of the season for Sherissa and I. Gunter, John, keep up the good work.
Of course, thank you to all the volunteers, workers, marshalls and all whose hard work makes racing happen! I hope that you've all enjoyed watching us all, as much as we enjoy driving.
I'll bid you guys all a great off-season until the next sun filled road racing season starts again!
