I know this is last minute, but we're pretty desperate, so I'm asking someone in the rally community for help.

I'm going to be running in the Rallycross event in Bancroft this Sunday. I've got a fully prepared production class Toyota MR2 Rally Car. We can't drive it to the event, since it's not plated or insured at the moment. So we need a vehicle to tow it to the event. We had already arranged a deal with a person with a truck, he tows the car to the event, and he could run the event in our car. But now, that person is no longer available. I don't have alot of options now, so I'm willing to give that same deal to anyone with a truck (or any vehicle) that has at least a class II trailer hitch.
We just need a tow vehicle, a trailer would be prefered too, but is not nessesary. Anyone who's willing to let us use their truck, can drive our car at the event.
The car is located in Burlington, that's where it must be picked up and dropped off. The plan is to head up to Bancroft saturday night, and return sunday night. The trip won't cost you a thing, we'll pay for the gas and motel. You just pay your own entry fee at the event (only $40). This is guaranteed to be a fun time, nobody with the slightest amount of racing experience will be refused!

Interested parties should email me ASAP at: wedge1@rogers.com

Edit:
That's a picture of the car in my signature <duh>

I think I read in their rules that cars must be street legal,
you should double check that.

I'm pretty sure they use the same sort of rule that is in Solo 2. So long as it meets the minimum safety requirements, it is fine.
The car is street legal anyways. It's just not plated or insured yet.

Nope.. you can run a car that is trailered. I ran my ice racer last time, i will be on Sunday.

Too bad i'm already towing it up there.

Now...with all the connections on this board...you have got to be able to find someone with dealer plates you could borrow for the day.

Got a ride!:) :D :p

I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anyone in time, so I posted this everywhere. But it turns out there's quite a few rally guys out there who have trailers and tow vehicles, but don't currently have a rally car.
So it works out well for both of us.
