CASC-OR Road Racing Taskforce Recommendations
You can find a copy of the recommendations put forward by the CASC-OR Road Racing Taskforce at this year's AGM (this past Saturday evening) at the following URL - http://www.casc.on.ca/documents/rac...rcereport04.pdf. These recommendations will be taken to the Board of Directors at their meeting on Tuesday, November 23. In order to expedite the process leading to a decision by the BOD as to which (if any) of these recommendations will be implemented and when, I will be attending the meeting on the 23rd so that any questions which may arise can be answered at that time.
For those of you who were not in attendance at the AGM, it is the Taskforce's position that the first six recommendations could be implemented in their entirety for the 2005 season. We further believe that significant portions of the other recommendations would be attainable by that time as well. It is up to you, the participants, to show your support for this initiative to ensure that this process moves forward and doesn't just become a footnote in the history of regional racing!
Thanks to each of you who took the time and effort to respond to our request for input. It was very enlightening and made the process much easier.
