Where do you go when you are looking for specific parts and you don't wnat to pay what BMW wants for parts.

I need a Sunroof Crank for an 1988 325e and don't really want to pay $80 for a part from the dealership.

If you do a search online for bmw parts and canada, nothing is actually canadian, it's all american, with american prices and then the Canadian rape bringing it across te border (and I thought rape was against the law....not unless you are the government, I guess....)

I have found 2 e30's in 2 separate junk yards each within 15 minutes of my house. THis was quite a while ago, but they are out there.

http://www.precisionautoparts.com AKA or www.netcomparts.com
they are a phone in email only, no store. out of Hamilton . Very good prices compared to the dealer on repair and service parts. Jim has been my contact the most.

I have done a business with Bravian Auto out of NH, if you ship via parcel post or Fed Ex duty, broakerage fees etc. are OK. It is UPS ( brown) that SCREWS you on their broakge fee.

FEDEX is free is you have an account number for anything uinder $1500 CDN. They act as your broker and $10 without. AN account number is FREE- go online and get one. Also Canada Post is only $5-10 for their brokerage fee, very resoanable.
