Hi, my car club, Muskoka Auto Xtremes holds a solo series every season on a go-kart track in Bracebridge (1 1/2 Hours north of Toronto). I am the competition director and will be making the dates soon. We hold one a month from May untill October, just not sure of the dates yet. I will post them up here when we get them. I would love to see people from other areas come and race, we have people from as far away as Grimsby and Sudbury coming to the event's. Here is a pictre of my car on the track, so you can see a little of what the track looks like :

No, it's in Bracebridge Muskoka. Bracebridge is about 1 1/2 Hours North of Toronto on Hwy 11.I live in Huntsville, it is just North of Bracebridge (15 Min.), you might have heard of Huntsville. It is near Algonquin Park. We have quite a range of car's from bone stock Toyota Tercel's to Porche's and ITR's. It takes around 55 second's for a lap on average. There isn't anything to run into nearby, there are tires around parts of the track, but I have mowed a few of them down without any damage. :D

I was at one of those events last season and a couple the season before, driving a green neon. I much prefer the go-cart track to pylons in a parking lot, it's like a solo 1.5 .
Andretti, are you taking over for Tom Smith or is he still part of it?

Hi Brent, I remember you and your Neon, you had # 39, didn't you? That is a pretty quick car.I am sure you remember my car, the one with all the body roll. I don't think I had the engine swap done when you were there, it is quicker now, but I can't get all the power to the ground with the lousy suspension. And the automatic tranny didn't help my times either, it will be a 5-speed this season (with a little luck).
Yeah I am taking over organizing the event's, but Tom will still be there and will be helping me somewhat in organizing. I hope to see you there again.
sounds like fun to me :) Scenic drive to Bracebridge, mow down some tires with Andretti, scenic drive home! Once I know when the events are I'll definitely try to make the trip up.
Cheers,
Dave
